Questions for consideration/discussion
1) What exactly IS transparency?
Is it even necessary in Master/slave relationships?
What does it require of the slave? of the Master?
Is transparency sharing every single thought, or just thoughts affecting one's ability to be in a power-exchange relationship?
How does a slave determine which thoughts affect the relationship and should be shared?
Is it the role of the Master to govern the slave's thoughts, or is it the role of the slave to self-govern?
2) Should Masters be transparent to slaves?
What is transparency from the perspective of the Master to slave?
There are some who say the Master should never reveal thoughts, explain the reasons for commands, or be questioned in any way. If this is true, how then does the slave develop deep loyalty and love for a Master?
Does transparency allow the Master to love a slave more, or does it become a yada-yada type of nuisance that is more aggravating?
3) Is transparency important to the Master/slave relationship?
Why?
Is transparency a "free-for-all" sharing of one's emotions and difficulties without fear of consequences?
How does this differ from being a "bitch" session? Is this just a fancy word for allowing one party to "act out" of the power role?
4) How does one develop transparency?
Does it require protocol, journaling, or other practices to achieve?
5) Is transparency one-way (from slave to Master)? Why?
